In PST, CST, or EST Time Zones
At Fat Moon Creative, we’re all about waking up and LOVING the types of clients we support. Every brand, nonprofit, or individual we chose to work with is connected to a larger purpose to do good in this world (and we truly don’t mean that in the cheesy, cliche way.)
We’re all about taking things to the next level for our clients and partners because our bottom line is always about making an impact on Planet Earth—whether that’s combatting climate change through sustainable food systems or pushing for increased gender equality.
Bold, big thinking fuels our actions and we always love a wildly creative idea. At the end of the day, we just want to add sunshine to this world and co-create with awesome, empathetic, caring people who find joy in meaningful work.
The Role – Social Media Community Manager
We’re looking for a community manager who is passionate about environmental and social justice issues, loves striking up conversations with strangers, and is genuinely curious about getting to know people as individuals.
Responsibilities
Use hashtags, influencers, and other tactics to find our target audiences and strike up a conversation with them
Engage new audiences to introduce them to our clients’ brands, driving authentic, meaningful conversations, and hopefully inspire them to follow our clients’ accounts (especially on Instagram) - 2x a day
Engage in social listening and always have your pulse on the brand, our target audiences, and the community at large
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience
Must be self-motivated and independent (but we will always be here to give you a helping hand or guide you if you ever need it)
Can slip into the voice of our clients’ unique brands
Detail-oriented and has excellent grammar and spelling
Highly organized with the ability to track and pick up conversations
Warm, friendly, patient personality to connect with our clients’ customers and potential customers
Has up to 10 samples of social media conversations where you reached out to your target audiences and successfully engaged with them (ideally, these would be “winning conversations” where you drove brand awareness, acquired them as a follower, and/or drove them your website)
